TARIFF TARIFF TARIFF.

FOR MANY OF US THIS IS CREATING ALOT OF CONFUSION ON WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO GRAIN MARKETS??

WELL MY GUESS IS THAT NOBODY LIKELY KNOWS AS YOU CAN READ ONE ARTICLE AS TO WHY THINGS MUST GO DOWN AND ANOTHER AS TO WHY THEY MUST GO UP. ONE THING I CAN GUARANTEE IS THAT WE ARE GOING TO SEE LOTS OF VOLATILITY IN THE MARKET. THIS MEANS THAT PRICES WILL GO UP TO CREATE OPPORTUNITY AND THEY WILL ALSO GO DOWN TO BELOW COST OF PRODUCTION LEVELS. WHERE WOULD YOU RATHER START SELLING??? IF ITS IN THE MONEY THEN DIPPING YOUR TOES IN AND GETTING SOME FORWARD SALES OR NEW CROP TARGETS IN PLACE IS LIKELY THE BEST THING YOU CAN BE DOING TODAY.

WE ARE ONCE AGAIN GOING TO TURN ANOTHER LEAF AND BEGIN TO PLAN FOR OUR 2025 CROP, AS WE BUY SEED, FERTILIZER, AND PRICE INPUTS WE NEED TO CONSIDER OFFSETTING THESE COSTS WITH OUR MARKETING PLAN. LOOKING AT A COST OF PRODUCTION  I THINK MOST OF US CAN PUT A CORN CROP IN FOR 650$/AC WITH NO LAND COST. THIS LEAVES 400$/AC ON THE TABLE, LOOKING AT THIS AS A BUSINESS STARTING TO INCREMENTALLY SELL CORN ABOVE 5.50$/BU FOR 25 WILL LIKELY TURN OUT TO BE A GOOD SALE LATER IN THE FUTURE. GIVE US A CALL TO ASSIST YOU IN GETTING SOME TARGETS SET
